Kolter Homes pours 350 truck loads of cement for condo project - slideshow

Kolter Homes poured more than 350 truck loads of concrete over 14 hours on Saturday to lay the foundation for its Water Club condo project in North Palm Beach.

The West Palm Beach developer said it was the largest concrete pour in the history of the county. It cycled through about 65 trucks starting at 3 a.m. to get the job done. The company purchased cement from five Cemex plants.

The 166-unit Water Club project should be completed in spring 2016. Kolter Homes said it's pre-sold over 50 units and most buyers are baby boomers, and not investors. A three-bedroom unit starts at $1.1 million.

The complex at 1280 U.S. Highway 1 will also have 15 boat docks.
