1000 North will be the name of Jordan's 18,000-square-foot restaurant, just off U.S. 1 north of Burt Reynolds Park, and will have about 75 outdoor seats — including an outside bar - and overlook the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. The first floor of the 340-seat restaurant, which also will have an indoor and outdoor bar, will be open to the public along with a plan for a public dock.

The 1,500-square-foot second floor, for members and their guests only, will have a 450-square-foot outdoor patio for food and beverages. There will be occasional celebrity chefs and valet boat docking for members will be available.

Jordan, a part-time Jupiter resident, is one of the 15 investors. Others include former New York Giants running back Tucker Frederickson, sportscaster Ahmad Rashad, local businessman Bjarne Borg and professional golfers Ernie Els, Dustin Johnson, Luke Donald and Rickie Fowler.
